PolarStar PR15 Help!
« on: April 25, 2012, 03:47:22 PM »
I have a buddy who's looking into the PolarStar PR15 to be his new primary rifle, but i have a few questions for all you PR15 owners or anybody who knows a lot about it. I know Chavez has one, and up until Sunday i thought you had to buy the 220$ polar star regulator cord but i saw he was using something else.. if there are any alternatives to the overpriced polarstar regulator please please respond. also how do you like it  ;D

You can use a palmers reg.   You just need to make sure you get on that operates within the correct pressure range

  • Have you tried turning it off and on again?

A visit to Classic Airsoft would be a good place to start. There's a spreadsheet there you can download that has the part numbers for McMaster-Carr. (That's for gauges, air line hose and connectors) But yeah, head to Palmer Precision to get your regulator. I've got one for my Daytona's and it's worked great.

also if you are looking for air rigs there are various sites that offer some, I went with Outlaw Airsoft and I have only used their air rig for one 8 hour game, Ace of Spades, but I had absolutely no problems with. Ran like a dream.

these are MUCH better than the stock stuff that comes with it http://www.redlineairsoft.com/                          http://www.redlineairsoft.com/apps/webstore/products/show/2715932

That will void the warranty on the PR-15.  Its a single stabilizer only.  PolarStar will only honor guns that run on a dual stabilizer setup.

That isn't a true dual stabilizer setup anyway...its a single with a bleed valve.

The best option is a Palmers with a secondary SMC.  We can build them if you need them.

I run a palmers rig with my Ninja SLP 68/4500 bottle.  I even have an SMC rig that works like a champ.

But we sell Redline Rigs with all of our units and they are amazing.  We have 4 guys here in MN with them now and most of our squad will be running them at Irene this year.
