Care Instruction
- NO Bleach, NO Iron, NO Dry Clean
- Wash inside out in low temperture
- Tumble dry in low heat

First Impression:

When I first opened the box that the jacket came in I thought that it seemed kind of thin.  I have used soft shell jackets before that I purchased from Kohlís and J.C. Penny.  Their material is probably twice as thick.  I noticed right away that the jacket fit very snuggly.  If you have a ďnormalĒ build youíll be fine ordering whatever size you regularly wear.  For those of ďlargerĒ build I suggest ordering one size up.  I was impressed with the integrated hood.  Typically, integrated hoods are thin and are there simply to break the wind.  This hood has the same fleece lining that is present everywhere else in the jacket.

Use and conditions:

Iíve worn the jacket for the past two weeks, regardless of temperature.  Iíve been pleasantly surprised as to how warm the jacket has kept me, even when wearing just a t-shirt underneath.  The jacket itself provides some insulation but not much.  For field play Iíd say that depending on temperature youíll want to have some kind of polypro base layer (UnderArmour), with a knit thermal layer on top of that.  If its really cold, put a turtleneck on over that and then the jacket.  With all 4 layers Iíd say you could easily stay warm outside for extended periods down to 5 or 10 degrees.

This weekend Iíll be wearing this in its first game play test at Paramilitary X-Mas.  Iíll have more information thenÖ.including pictures

Hmm.. not bad. I was looking at these, as I don't trust Ebaybanned's gear quality. Glad to hear it's held up so far.

Villa just have to say that I've been wearing the OD ebanned soft shell for over a year now(I wear it almost everyday over a fleece) and I've had not one problem at all.You can't beat it for the price,or at least I couldn't.

Sorry for going off topic

Hmm... thanks for the info.

I'm waiting for retailers to get the mediums in stock ATM, but I may go that route if I get impatient.

Believe me I know EB is hit or miss, but the jacket is golden, its a great spring/fall jacket its not linned for winter, thats why I sport the black fleece, and thats a perfect set up

Hope the condor rocks for those who buy it,too rich for my blood by the time you add shipping.
Then to wear it to a field and get paint on it or worse.

So after a few more weeks i can officially say this thing is well worth the money.  I wore this to the paramilitary xmas and OP: Test Fire.  Both days it held up well and i stayed very warm.  I only noticed it getting cold later in the day when the sun started to go down.  Yesterday the temp outside my house registered as -1.  With nothing but a sweater on underneath my upper body stayed toasty warm while shoveling my driveway.  As for getting dirty.  Its washed up nicely.  All the stitching has held and insulation still feels fluffy.  So far I give this a 10 our 10.  With plenty of storage space and good weather protection its very much a good buy.

I actually have one of the Condor Micro Fleece jackets in the mail, I'll be sure to leave a review of it and how it compares to their outer shell.

ASGI stocks them now, assuming "OE Tech" = Condor.

Bastards only have the black one in medium.
